I move in Wilson Towers over 6 months ago. I haven't really had any problems besides the roaches. You would think that with just moving in and my unit kept very clean, that I would not see as many in my apartment, wrong. Every morning I see roaches in the kitchen. I spray very night. I spray around my door insides and out. They crawl all in the halls. This is the first place I have stayed and the roaches being so bold the crawl right pass you as this is their palace.
It's because it is!!!
If the managment would stop spraying what every in the hail they are spraying, and bomb this son of a b***h. They might can decrease the infestation. You would think with a management person in each building that they would try to do better. Maybe they don't care because they are nasty.
I would suggest everyone bomb their apartment every six months, maybe it we work together we can keep the infestation down.
But that is my thought.

I am also very clean, but at this point that doesn't matter. It is my opinion that management allowed the problem to get out of hand, now they are addressing it, but even the manner in which they are addressing this situation is haphazard. Let's not leave out the fact that the problem began from "some" residents who haven't been clean. Leaving opened trash out by the mailboxes; not putting their trash in trashbags. There is no maintenance, inside the building, over the weekends. So trash just builds up and people don't have enough sense to stop putting their trash in a can that is already running over. My neighbor reported to the office that there was an half opened jug of milk and a dirty diaper in the laundry room. Also, the sink in the laundry room has been backed up forever, and the dirty water just sits there. Management has a responsibility to make certain the residents follow the rules, there is more to managing the building than taking care of the outside of it. Bottom line, management has received complaints from me and other residents for over 12 months. NOW that the roach problem is totally out of hand they still won't call an outside contractor. I have been at Wilson Towers for two years, and they have never seen the roach problem approached headon. Literally in the past 6-8 months it is outrageous. They need to get some professionals in and spray every unit. The roaches are in the ceiling, look at your light fixture in your kitchen, I can bet it is filled with dead roaches. I walked to the elevator this morning and killed five "fat" roaches in route. All I have been told is it is too costly to bring in an exterminator, but how much sense does that make. There are two units by the trashroom in building 7911 that management has not been able to rent for over a year for one, and nearly six months for the other. They are two bedroom units. The rent for a two-bedroom unit is $1,225. That is $22,050 in rent they have lost thus far. I don't understand their math, how can they not afford to take care of the problem. There is complacency like I've never seen it before. Maybe it is because the majority of the residents are minority. Maybe it is because no one is vocal enough. But, if everyone got together and pushed for something to be done, it will get done. Complaining does nothing, it takes action to get things done! I've written letters, I've personally complained to management to no avail. I am out of here -- now, that is taking action!!!
