Some advice...KEEP LOOKING for another place.

I just moved out and I agree with the majority of reviews...this place is terrible!

Where do I begin....

1.Parking sucks!!! I had to walk from the end of the complex to my building at night several times. parking only got better when people began to move out.

2.UNWANTED VISITORS....So many bugs / insects!!! Centipedes and silver fish love this place. No matter how many times the exterminator "came out" they were still there. Many people had mice and roaches, fortunately my unit didn't.

3. Police visits...The police practically live here now. A couple of shootings, attempted suicide,domestic issues and more. For about a good week I saw cops everyday outside of my building.

4. The turnover rate of tenants is high in my opinion. almost my entire building seems to be new every so many months.

5. A lot of dogs. both "legal" and "illegal" to the property. (I had one incident where the dog tried to chase me and the owner couldn't control it.)O what memories I have walking the extremely long distance to my building at night since there were no parking spaces.

6.Maintenance...hmmm lets just say don't count on much getting done. One of the maintenance guys is really cool and will try his best to fix things but the others hmm... not so much. They come out and fix things and then leave a mess. A note or form is never left saying that they were there and they never schedule their arrival they just show up.

7. Management...Don't let the phony smiles and chipper attitudes fool you. They are some characters. Always get every verbal agreement with them in writing. They love to switch things up. If you leave a message do not expect a phone call back because guess what....its NOT happening. No matter how many times you leave your name and number and a message telling them to call you back they won't. The only way to get things done is to get angry and threaten to contact someone above them.

8.Actual unit...nothing special but nice for what you are paying I guess.

9. Paper thin walls...You can hear everything. So tired of waking up to someones TV early in the morning or their conversations on the balcony.

10. BGE... lets just say too high for this little apartment. Thermostat was definitely broke.

Overall...Wouldn't do it again. If its truly a temporary space you can test your luck but I wouldn't. Like I said the unwanted visitors never seem to go away. If I were you I would keep looking.
