when i moved in 2 years ago, this community was peacefule and i was so happy to be in a safe and quiet neighborhood. this place has gone down-hill since then. parking absolutely sucks. there is never any parking, even at 5 in the afternoon. kids crowd the road and scream, spit, curse at you...where are the parents...there is NO SUPERVISION in this neighbrhood...it seems as if 7 residents reside in 1 bedroom apartments...it is f***king ghetto...we pay to live in a peaceful county community and what we get is inner city...drugs, helicopters, police, bad kids, no parents...rent somewhere else... vWhRVi5nYYIuEh4W7K3l

I believe the program "Move to Opportunity" has caused a lot of these problems. If you only have to pay a fraction of the welfare income to live in a nice place some people don't care at all. I live near these apartments and have noticed more grafetti and trash. Half of these kids don't even attend school. They walk the neighborhood in the early afternoon probably looking to cause trouble. Don't waste your money moving here. I will be selling my home soon and getting out of this miserable stae.

I have lived at Doncaster for several years. When I first moved here, the place seemed to be quiet, safe, and people were friendly. In the past couple of years, all that has changed. Residents and visitors drive into the parking areas to where I live late at night with the volume turned way too loud. College or high school kids are roudy and yell late at night into early in the morning. I hear police cars with their sirens going up and down either Waltham Wooods Rd. or Old Harford Rds. 2 to 4 times a week. Sometimes, I see a police helicopter with their search lights flying around the area. And finally, the shooting that recently took place at Doncaster was enough to wake me up to the fact that Doncaster Villege Apartments is no longer a quality place to live. The letter that Doncaster Mgmt. sent around to the residents is BS and just a way for management to cover their butts. I have decided to move out of the Baltimore area to a much nicer, safer, and quieter area of Maryland. I believe in time, Doncaster Apartments will probably become another crappy housing project similar to one found in Baltimore City. I would never recommend Doncaster Apartments to anyone looking for a place to live.

I agree with most of this. The neighborhood looks a little "ghettoized" These problems need to be addressed to the main office. The current property manager doesn't seem to care. It seems like there are a couple of "problem" neighbors who are ------- up the area. The kids who look like there straight out of North Avenue, have no respect for anyone. Where are the parents?? We can save the complex by calling, and e-mailing CRC directly to voice our concerns. Doncaster is located in a nice area of the county. There are very nice homes just outside the complex. The middle school is considered one of the best in the county. When you drive on Old Harford, You see nice people walking, and biking. The problem is a couple of "city" people who have discovered our quiet neighborhood. Lets all work together and combat this problem. Contact Crc realty directly.
