Could have been better

Overall, I have to say that I generally felt safe, however I recently moved out. I have to completely agree that the parking is horrible, however when I left they were working to change that by contracting with a towing company. I am not sure what good it did though because no one is required to have a parking sticker. The pool wasn't that great. It could be noisy (depends on your neighbors) but I only ever heard them when they showered. The rent increases were too much (at least fifty per year) and when they added water to the rent I left. The apartment was not worth what I was going to be expected to pay (including water, it would have been over a hundred per month increase).
I never had a problem with the leasing office, mainly because I didn't request much maintenance. The air conditioner (or whatever is locked in that closet) leaked and all they did was bring in a dehumidifier. So the floor and wall had damage they never fixed. I also had a severe mold problem and the bathroom was too small. I wasn't impressed with the bedroom sizes and when I left, I agree with a previous post that children and ghetto started to overtake the community. Towards the end I was nervous coming home alone at night.
The walls were crappy and instead of spackling, they put tape over holes and painted that! So, overall, not bad, but not worth what you pay.
