About a month ago I had an incident occur where I rolled over to see a white possible hispanic(due to the yellow lights)man in his mid 40's short brown hair, staring at me through my bedroom window at midnight. The police were unable to catch the guy but they did discover a series of trails that run through the woods off of Shawnne down to Walther and Bradwell Ct. The K-9 unit lost the scent of the guy on Bradwell Ct, concluding that he had a car parked there or he lives down there. After speaking to several neighbors that are backed up to the woodline also, they've told me that they've seen people back there over the past several months stopping at windows. The leasing offices response was that they have no control over the wooded property.

Are you serious?!!! That is really scary. I am a resident and that makes me scared to go outside when it is dark out. Are you moving out? Have you seen the "under cover" police officer that they were suppose to hire?

Message for Tigerlily12: You should take the advice of the rental office and submit your letter in writing to the manager at Doncaster Ms J. Adams and Cc a copy of the letter to CRC Reality ...Attn Mr. JM Schapiro. He is one of the primary owners of CRC. Mention the fact that you have reason to believe illegal drugs are being sold/used in your bldg. You need to mention that the police have been called out to the unit, and you have already complained to the rental office manager with no response. Under Keelty management (the former owners) I had to write a similar letter to have 2 tenants (for non-drug activity) removed from our bldg. The rental manager was not taking my complaints seriously, and I contacted the owner's son Mr. Keelty with a certified letter. The next thing I know the problem tenants were moving out within a few months. The complex did not evict them, but they opted not to renew their lease when it was time to do so.
You'll have to put some fire underneath the management at Doncaster to get their attention. I'm hoping Doncaster isn't turning into the next drug hot spot for Parkville.

A response to Anonymous- No, they are still there with more foot traffic in and out of that apartment than I though was humanly possible. The management office's only response was to make sure I put all complaints in writing and that was the last I heard from them.

You must call the Parkville Police station. I see too many dudes walking around late at nite. If these occupants are dealing drugs, the police can set up survillence and they will be caught. I feel Parkville is becoming another Hillendale. Also if the rental office isn't doing THEIR job to your satisfaction, send a certified letter to the corporate office. I guess THEIR boss doesn't know they are not responsive to tenants that pay THEIR salary thru the rent. Just don't sit back, be assertive. This is YOUR home. Defend it NOW!!!!!

If only Michael Keelty could see this place now!! WOW There are a couple of Drug people that live here. I see it more and more everyday! High school kids on skateboards coming and buying drugs out in the open. I can't believe it. It's too bad, because the complex is in a great neighborhood. Pinegrove is one of the better schools in the county. Your son is probably better off renting elsewhere. By the way, I did see a drug transaction go down near the playground while a soccer game was going on last week. I called the police, but the kids took off. I think the police are aware of the problems, and hopefully the drug people will move on!!!

My husband and I lived in Doncaster Village 20 years ago, while we were newlyweds. At that time, we had zero problems, as you could have guessed. Our son, now 19, is looking for an apartment and he looked at Doncaster Village on line. I was raving about how my husband and I loved living there. Unfortunately, in today's society, and after reading these posts, I don't think I would recommend these apartments. Our daughter plays a lot of her soccer games at Pine Grove Elementary and I often look at the apartments with only fond memories. Now, I will be looking at them with the thought, "I'm glad we're not there anymore." I can't believe Doncaster has gone downhill considering that it's located in a very nice area. At least I still have many fond memories of newly married life and a safe place at Tadmore Court!!
