The people on this site give such a bad impression of this complex! And most of it is just untrue. Yes there were fireworks on June 19th. But if you bothered to follow up and call the police, or leasing office the next day you would have found out that they were fireworks set off by kids, not gun shots. There were a few isolated incidents of crime late last year, but an we go for walks at night all the time, and have never had a problem. We live in the small part of the complex off Old Harford, maybe thats the difference, but everyone that I know that lives in the complex is very happy. There are lots of families, and I've never felt unsafe. The office staff is alright, maintenance is prompt and usually things are fixed the first time around ;)

Anyway, I love it here. And will renew my lease when it comes up in the fall.

I don't like the graffetti that was put on the light green telephone box on Kingstree Rd near Summitt Ave the weekend of 06/20/2009. I wish the apartment complex would paint over it or use a graffetti cleaner to remove it. If anyone sees kids or adults painting graffetti, please call the police. Maybe someone will clean it off because it is a blight on our neighborhood. This area isn't the "hood" even though losers that deface our property think it is OK. If they want to live in trash, I suggest they go back to the city. God knows there is enough filth and dirt for them to live in. Apparently, they don't know how to live in a decent good middle class neighborhood.

I live on the other end of the complex, so I have not seen the graffetti. Since you've mentioned it I will stop by and have a look and take some pictures to share with the rental office and the coporate office on Falls Road. I will ask them to remove or paint over and see what happens. To Parkville Honey, the kids in our community bear some responsibility for the negative change in the neighborhood as well. It's summertime and the kids are restless and looking to get into trouble since they probably don't have a curfew. I've seen kids that live in the houses in the neighborhood, not the apartments throw trash on the sidewalks on Summit walking home from Pine Grove. The bottom line is that everyone wants a safe, clean, Parkville community to live and raise their family in - and we need to fight to keep it that way. Also, does anyone have any information regarding the neighborhood association that covers this area near Pine Grove School?

I am happy to say that I am leaving Doncaster for good. I have found a much nicer place to live. I have lived here (11 years), longer than a majority of the people who currently live at Doncaster. This apartment community was much nicer back then. However, the overall look and feel of Doncaster has changed in a negative way since 1998 when I moved here. Doncaster has turned into an unkept, dirty, noisy place to live.
