Management cheats and lies. More drugs, excessive noise, crimes and gun shots

The management staffs lied about neighborhood safety, and drug problems, and moreover they automatically renew one's lease without a single notice or any deadline. Still not sure about the gun shots, check out the local police reports. I remember there were stabbing cases, too.
As a matter of fact, some one broke my car window to steal my GPS around Christmas of 2008.
If you don't care about a rock star playing rock and roll beginning at 11 pm on most weekends, be my guest and just sign the lease with them. I am sure they will invent ways to cheat and trap you there.

You're an idiot. Staff cannot say whether or not someone will sell drugs, or break into your car. Wow! If they could perdict safety measures and what goes on in peoples heads thats a miracle!!
Moreover, what kind of person leaves their GPS in their car at night around christmas time? Thats just saying "hey...break into me..I don't care!"
Crime is high around the Parkville area. Do your research. I lived in Parkville most of my life. Check the crime blotter. It can be dangerous. Why would you think this place (which is IN parkville)would be any different??
Oh yeah...all MD leases have a lease end date. The "deadline" you talk about is in the lease contract ( a legally binding document, mind you) that YOU AGREED TO SIGN. How is it anyones fault but your own that you didnt read your lease? |

Hello all. I am HAPPY TO SAY that I'm moving out of Doncaster Village apartments in the coming months. It's a shame. When I moved here in the late 1990's, this area and ommunity was a nice place to live. However, over the past several years, the overall feel and look of the community has changed for the worse. The apartment buildings and surrounding grounds look unkept and dirty. Some of the day maintenance workers look and act unprofessional at times.
The one thing that irritates me is when I told the personnel (leasing agents and property manager) I was leaving, they kept on asking me WHY I was leaving their "precious" apartment community. I could have told them EXACTLY what I thought about Doncaster and WHY I'm leaving, but I decided to play nice and be polite. Even when I called a few more times to ask some other questions, they still got on my back about leaving. The funny thing is, you now see two or three flyers on the bulletin board above the mailboxes concerning incentives to stay and refer people to this place. Is Doncaster losing tennants?
PS- one of the people who posted a message is correct. Doncaster in some ways is starting to look a little like an inner city or section 8 housing project with some of the "riff-raff" hanging around or even living in the area. Oh well, somethings change for the better and some for the worse. Doncaster Village Apartments has and continually changes for the worse.

You are correct. The ------ are moving in and chasing the white people away. It's ashame. look around the neighborhood. The property manager needs to get off her butt and drive around the complex. See which townhouse/apartment the drugs are coming from. And get rid of these thugs. Maybe drug screen people before they move in. Again, if you see illegal activity, call 911. Lets hope this complex doesn't get like Kenilworth!!

To the very 1st response "You're an idiot." If there werent people around like you, others could leave their GPS in the car w/o it getting stolen. You sound like a Fu..in pro or the person who did it. Oh yeah, maybe that's why your name is anonymous. "Do your research. I live in Parkville most my life." You sound like you love living in crime & in a bad neighborhood.
