I live at Doncaster for a couple of years now. I also notice the changes to the complex. I see people smoking pot at the playground at night. The lighting situation is a joke. The play area (where my kid plays) at the corner of Kingstree is pitch dark in the evening. Labor day weekend, I noticed a couple of --------American males hanging out there till 2A.M. doing drugs. I called the police, but by the time they arrived, the thugs were gone. I also notice thug like people loitering on the lot selling drugs on Kingstree. I don't let my child play at the play ground anymore. I talked to my husband about moving, and we are looking for another place. It's too bad, we like this area, but we can see what's coming. I think the management needs to look more carefully at the people they're renting to. I work the night shift and arrive home around 3A.M. Let me tell you, It's a little scary seeing young people hanging out on the lot, smoking pot and seliing drugs.

As my husband and I were walking near Kingstree Rd and crossing the street, we saw a used needle in the gutter. I have NEVER seen a used needle before. Ever since James Keetley sold this apartment complex, the new owners let anyone move in. I don't even think they check their credit or background. Look at the rapist that lived off Lowell Ridge Rd! I see this area becoming another Reisterstown Rd area with nothing but crime. I'm moving before it is too late.

I don't blame anyone for wanting to leave Doncaster apartments. I have lived here for MANY YEARS and the overall quality of this apartment community has deteriorated quite a bit. Shortly, I am moving to a nicer, quieter, safer, more respectable apartment community in Maryland.

You can thank your politicians for tearing down the housing towers downtown and moving all the people to apartments in Baltimore County. Before Move To Opportunity we never had these issues!

The -------American part was unnecessary & ignorant.

The Drug problem is coming from atleast one townhome on Kingstree. I don't want to give the exact address, because I am told police are actively watching the place. According to police, there have been several complaints coming from that location. And I do believe the police have made an arrest last year. The person doing the drugs is "dark skin". If you see anyone doing drugs, or illegal activity in the complex, PLEASE call 911. The police need our assistance, and we need them as well. This is a great neighborhood and lets all do our part and move the scum out. Also, lets call the management company and demand better lighting so it will make it harder for these thugs to conduct illegal activity here.
