I don't recommend it if you have a low tolerance for corporate --------. We found this place when there were friendly, helpful folks in the office and by the time we were ready to move in, it had been bought by Berkshire mgmt and was then staffed by irresponsible, helpless (and not helpful) people who are clearly not interested in what you think of them AFTER you have signed your lease. What people say about maintenance is true. They will send someone out after you make enough noise about it, but the someone will probably not actually repair the problem, at least not until the third visit!! The renovations are not what I think of as an improvement and I especially resent that they ARE NOT RENEWING LEASES FOR PEOPLE WHO WERE HERE BEFORE THE RENOVATIONS STARTED. They will be happy to write us a NEW lease for a remodeled apartment--which means that we still have to pack up our stuff and move it!! I don't much care for the idea of packing and moving to a place I like less and being charged more money for the same space. The most recent annoyance is that the pool, which is of course touted as being a major plus, is finally open for the season but they can close it whenever they please for whatever reason so we haven't been able to actually use it yet!! This place is beautiful and most of the people who live here seem to be reasonable people, but the mgmt just keeps making it unpleasant to live here.
