DO NOT MOVE HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES....
Pehlam Woods/Towson Crossing Apartments has THE WORST Management Office in the Parkville Area. I agree with the rest of the folks when they say the management does not care about the tenants. I lived there from May 2005 - August 2005. The reasons why I broke the lease was:
1. They acted like providing hot water was a privilege to me and my then roomate. The office was very relaxed at eliminating a problem that should not ever be. The hot water heater needed to be replaced twice and I was only there for three months.
2. Mice, Roaches are there. Within a month of living there, I saw a mouse and about two roaches. The maintenance never closed any holes in the apartment which led to my last problem...
3. BATS, yes, I mean BATS where in my apartment when I came back home one Saturday in July. The weekend office attendant was such a dunce that when I told her that I had three bats in my kitchen and living room area she told me to call maintenance. Not " I'm sorry sir" or "We'll be there right away", just call maintenance. And not to my surprise, the maintenance man could not do anything to help me out. So when reported back to the dunce in the office they called animal control who only removed one bat from my apartment...
And you want to know whats best out of all' When I decided to kick my roomate to the curb for not paying his share of the rent and tried to move into another unit, it had a horrible balcony with stains on the bricking outside. The grass hadn't been cut in months rising up to the first floor apartments and holes where someone was stealing cable from a neighbor. And the best thing about it, I STILL HAD TO PAY A MONTH'S RENT TO MOVE OUT OF THE COMPLEX...
