and I thought I had it bad. I am surprised Carole contacted you and asked you to not use her name Carole on this website. Seems like Carole could have used the same effort to contact you regarding your meeting and the repairs that need to take place. It seems like you should be reimbursed or credited for the timeframe that you have paid rent while not living in the apartment because it was not tenant ready. I am sure it is mouse and cockroach ready! While you are at it, you should ask them to seal all holes before you move in to hopefully help keep mice out of your apartment. The managers should do as their title indicate, MANAGE. They should visit the apartments and do routine checks themselves so that the new resident will not have such a long list to submit when they get in. The maintenance staff and carpenters should have to use the list as a tool to check to make sure they have everything in excellent order for move in. Then you can move in, relax and enjoy your new apartment. But no way, you have to move in and fight, fight, fight! I don't know where these managers come from. The prison system' They often respond to you with such a negative and nasty attitudes just because you are asking them to make repairs for an apartment that you are paying rent for. Oh snap, maybe the prisoners have it better than we do. The rent continues to rise and we now have to pay for more services that were free when the other company managed the property. Be careful using rent eskrow because that may backfire. Go to rent court if needed and state your case but if you put the money in eskrow, they can somehow make it seem as though you didn't pay rent for a while. Check into it if you have to go that route. We can hundreds of notices regarding payments, adding new fees, or taking another privilege away from us but when it comes to letting you know when you will get something done, nobody can help you. They will sometimes do everything in their power to not complete your request. Perhaps, you can call the Baltimore County Code Enforcement office. In regards to the corporate office not responding...just think about the majority of people who live in this community and you will realize why they don't respond. Definitely not having a good day at Towson Crossing. Don't let the new smell of carpet make you delirious enough to sign the lease. Run Forest Run!
