Towson Crossing Apartments is the worst apartment complex ever!!! The place is dirty and full of mice. If you enjoy having mice as your roommates then come to this place. I have only been living here for a year and I have had a problem with mice since day one. I have complained to the people in the leasing office about this issue numerous times but they haven't done a thing to resolve the problem since. They even admitted that the mice are most likely coming in from the open holes in the buildings, especially since they emptied out the storage areas in the lower levels of the buildings. However, they have not done anything about the holes. The mice are everywhere, even in the living room and the bedroom and it's completely disgusting!! Just this morning I discovered that the mice came into my kitchen, went up on the kitchen counters and ate my bread. I absolutely hate it here!! They do not take care of this complex at all. As a matter of fact, when we moved here we noticed that one of the posts that held up our balcony was almost completely rotten out and full of termite damage. We were nervous because it looked like the post could break at any minute. We informed the leasing office about it and they stated that there was nothing that they could do about it. Eventually the post did snap and only after the old post snapped, did they come and replace it. Also, the fact that they finally added carpet and paint to the hallways does not mean much either. This place still sucks and is a complete hellhole!! The hallways are usually dirty with trash and they usually stink. It is rare that you will actually see some of the workers actually cleaning the buildings. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. They are full of crap when they say that they are making upgrades to this complex. Don't believe it. They aren't doing a thing to make this place better. And if they tell you that they are building a dog park, that's a bunch of bull as well. They have been saying that since last year and they haven't done it yet. Like I stated before, I absolutely HATE it here and I am so glad that my lease is up. We are moving out of here this week and I can't wait to get the hell out of this hellhole. Don't come to Towson Crossing unless you enjoy living with mice and giving your hard earned money to a leasing office that does not care about its residents.

Can't you all call the health department? It must be someone who can look into these problems. But, I am glad I read your comment because I was looking for a place to live and they contacted me to come live at Towson Crossing. Thanks for all the comments. I will not move there.

It used to not be all that bad in the early 90s - the halls were regularly cleaned and mice and roaches were not an issue. I guess whoever is running the place now just wants to squeeze profit out of those buildings before they decay. Sad.

I'm reading the responses January and May 2008. I did everything to make someone/anyone take notice of the problems the tenants of Towson Crossings Apartments were experiencing. Fact or Fiction - that a group of tenants protested in front of the rental office a month or so ago; unfortunately, I was unaware when I was living there. It was real difficult to provide information, taking pictures, Health Department, elected officials, Code Enforcers, etc., and those around me were constantly complaining to me and amongst each other but not taking a stand! My frustration and lack of patience won...and I moved.
