I did have a mouse problem but the office and staff spent a lot of time working to cure the problem. Since then, I have not seen one mouse and neither have any of my neighbors.
My a/c wasn't working over the summer and the maintenance manager stayed late into the evening completing the repairs needed.
I thought my utility bills seemed high and the manager, Carole, came over and showed me some energy shaving tips that have helped.

I believe everything I read because I am still seeing mice. Maybe they help some tenants but others are treated horribly. Carole has never stepped foot into my apartment to check anything and refuses to fix the problems that I talk to her about. This place is the worst. Hopefully, Carole and her team will learn to respect all tenants and respond to their requests the same way they did for you.

Wow...these posts are truly enlightening. I am currently scheduled to move into an apt. on Halstead on Jan. 2nd, but after reading all the infestation comments, I have SERIOUS doubts as to whether I will do so b/c I don't have those issues where I currently live. Maybe I'll take a copy of the 46 comments & show them to the leasing staff b/c when I previously asked if there was a pest problem, there was serious hesitation b/f they responded and now I know why. I believe it is truly unfair for people to pay good money for rent and have to combat pests on a daily basis--sounds like the tenants need to sign a petition and send it the health department b/c it sounds as if the infestation problems are that serious.

I've been here almost a year, and I have never seen a mouse, in my apartment, or my building, or even outside. I also have never had a problem getting ahold of emergency or regular maintanance for anything I've ever called them about -- so I really don't know where the people live who are having all the problems with pests or maintenance.

carole had to transfer me and my family into a completely different apartment building because after they failed to remove a bird that was obviously stuck in my wall and then died, flies swormed my apartment I spent days killing them. dont forget to mention when i put down mice pads to catch the mice i caught waterbugs!!!! thats when i lived on altura ct now im on dowling circle not nearly as bad no waterbugs or birds stuck in the wall but i still have mice problems.
