I would have to agree with the last posting "could be better" I love this location. I work in Baltimore City so the commute is wonderful being so close to I95.
BUT I AM PAYING TO GET OUT OF MY LEASE EARLY!! I was stuck on the 3rd floor with no air conditioning for 4 straight days!!!! Then it happened again in August 2008 for 3 days. I understand things break. What I cannot understand is how I recieved NO compensation for it. I didnt even want money. I just wanted someone to pay my 3-day stay at the Days Inn ( the cheapest place around) for me and my daughter. It was...honest to god...94 degrees in my apartment. I also talked to someone in the office and she told me " the units are old" Well why didn't anyone forsee problems BEFORE the summer' Seems like bad management to me. It was taken over by Lane Company but now has even more problems then when Gables was here.
Instead of spending money on new a/c and heating units, new windows (the ones in my apt are the originals)and new appliances they spend all the money on a dog bark (which only aggitates my one year old daughter and me because we are so close to the dog park but they are NEVER any dogs there--only LOUD teenages) and 3-months free signs. By the way...I've been here for 3 years...where are MY 3-months free''''''''
The girls in the office now are a joke. What happened to the people that use to be there and actully help out'

I get a notice once a month saying my rent it late.
EVERY month I take a reciept (signed by THEM) to the office so they can see it was there error. How many times do you make the same mistake''' Learn from mistakes is something that they havent learned yet. I asked a few times about my account and I was told " We don't have your file...we're doing a file audit" Okay. Great. I've heard that 4 times. 4 file audits in 8 months''' Riiight....
