I've lived here for about four months now and so far we are very happy. There was a promotion running when we signed the lease for 3 months free rent, no joke. We have only once had to call the maintenance department because we did not have hot water. I called late Sunday night, around midnight, and left a message. I recieved a callback about 15 minutes later. The gentleman told me that he would come that evening but would be about 30 minutes or he could send someone at 8am, whichever I prefered. I told him that the next morning was fine and he said that someone would call me around 730am to confirm. They called at 730 on the dot and said they would be here at 8am, and arrived at 805. They are very punctual and extremely polite. The leasing office staff is also very helpful and friendly. I have a 3rd floor, 2 bedroom apartment with a real wood burning fire place, vaulted ceilings, a private balcony and more storage than we personally need. The apartment is perfect size for two adults and our 30lb puppy. The location is awesome, too. The neighborhood is extremely quiet, super friendly neighbors, and for the most part it's a pretty clean area. I constantly see the maintenace crew sweeping and cleaning the sidewalks, vacuming the carpeted area outside of the entrance to our apartment, and maintaining the landscaping, even in the winter weather. So far we are extremely satisfied and actually just tonight discussed if we would consider renewing our lease in December or if we should start looking for a more permanent home to settle down, start our life together and start a family...we decided that if all goes well for the remaining 9 months, if finances are limiting our home buying options, we would definetly extend our lease through 2010 until we are able to buy a place of our own.
In response to a previous comment, I would have never guessed that this building was built in the 80s. The kitchen cabinets are similar to almost every apartment I have ever been in...they could be a bit more modern, but they're clean and relatively attractive. Our apartment was very clean when we moved in, freshly painted, clean tiles, carpets and appliances, too.

WOW! I could swear you live somewhere else. I guess they treat the new residents well. I can't get them to do a single thing for us and our building steps/hallway,etc. are absolutely filthy. I have the same type of apartment and pay 1245.00/month. I have heard the new people are getting the same apartment for significantly less. It is very upsetting. At least someone is getting good service-we sure don't.

Glad someone gets good service here... Took us four months to get our initial move-in issues semi-fixed (NO JOKE)... This place is run horribly!
