Don't Rent Here!

These so-called luxury apartments are over-priced and poorly maintained. Most of the staff seem to care a bit, but they are frustrated in their efforts to please the residents by the property manager. She couldn't care less about the residents or the property. She sits in her office and prevents the maintenance staff from ordering parts and completing repairs. She is never seen walking the property to look for problems. There are only four maintenace persons for over 500 apartments, including the adjacent property under the same management. If you ask her to fix things, she will consider you to be an undesirable resident, and she will not renew your lease. There is considerable turn-over of the apartments, as no resident considers this as a place to live for the long term. It was very funny to watch her passing out ice cream sandwiches at the pool party this summer. She was smiling at all the residents, when in reality, she has such contempt for everyone who lives here. When we moved here, we failed to heed the warnings posted here, but we found that they were all true. The bright white flat paint will rub off if you come in contact with it. (Don't think about washing a dirty wall, you will have to repaint it.) The walls are spray-painted, including the light fixtures. The landscaping is well-maintained in front of the office, with automatic sprinklers, but the grass is damaged and never watered in front of the apartments. There is no dedicated dog-walking area, so residents let their pets mess everywhere. Residents park every place imaginable, even on the wrong side of the street and in front of fire hydrants. Management doesn't care about this any more than they care about anything else. This was a gated community, but last winter, the gates were permanently deactivated, with no notice to the residents. Management cited the cost to continue to operate them was just too much. There was no reduction in rent, however.

#1, these apartments are NOT overpriced, #2, VERY well maintained. And i'm sure that the manager just sits around all day hindering the staff from doing their work. Let me guess, you heard that from a maintenence guy right? And the fact that she dosen't walk the property, she's the manager, she shouldn't have to. Maybe once every month or so. There ARE designated "pet walking" areas. And even if there weren't any, you should be happy that large pets are even welcome!! As far as pets messing everywhere, that's your fellow tennants, so GET ON THEM to clean up their own mess. And as far as parking goes,... you know what? I'm done. I've never seen so many people complain about stupid stuff...
