I've lived at the courts of avalon for over a year, and have never had any problems. i honestly don't what half of these people are talking about (complaints). First, the rent is a little expensive, but hey, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. How many apartments have a direct access garage' not that many. Also, (i hate to say it...no, actually i don't) the higher rent keeps the "rift raft" out. which, to me personally, is WORTH THE HIGHER RENT IN ITSELF. About the "gated community" issue, get over it. the gates were disabled before i moved in, but the only thing i can see that they provided is a major pain in the a$$ every time you come in or leave. besides, if anyone really wanted to enter the community they could, gated or not. Home security systems are already installed in your apartment anyway, all you have to do is activate them. The staff has always been very professional (manager especially) and helpful, and the grounds are well kept. I have never had a problem with any neighbors. (except recently, a new couple just moved in and forgot that they moved into an apartment and not a house i guess) I HIGHLY recommend the courts of avalon to anyone. Well worth the rent...
