Built cheap, ignorant leasing staff

I am going to divide my review into two categories, staff and property:

Staff:
Minus ------ who rented my apartment to me (and the maintenance woman who is on early in the mornings who let me in when I locked myself out after the gym), the office staff is ignorant and unprofessional. I have grown up in the apartment industry, so I know what a good leasing agent and property manager should be and this property doesn't have them. Now, their management company is idiotic from what I can tell - their new daily pricing system is completely ludicrous, especially when the goods don't match the cost. Also, the model is COMPLETELY misleading! It has crown molding and shelving that are not in the actual apartments. It's one thing to paint an accent wall, add faux books, but a completely different wall and shelving unit'
------ in the office is unethical and ignorant. Her manager should not let her work with clients when she clearly doesn't know their policies and pricing.

Property: Hmmm...where to begin on how cheaply this property was built...(this is not the fault of current property management company, but they have done a poor job of trying to compensate - see "plastic blinds" below) The carpet is grade sandpaper, the toilet breaks all the time, the door knobs are poorly installed everywher, drywall is crumbling around the sprinkler systems, the kitchen floor scratches easily, the gym equipment breaks (supposedly their backwards management company who is going through a massive RFP with equipment companies - who does this affect' Their residents. But, I guess saving a few bucks in the long run is more important than renewals), the pool is small, their TV room can't be accessed after hours...I could go on.

Go across the street - better prices, bigger gym, WAY bigger pool, tennis courts, split level apartments and on the same side of the street as the restaurants.

I saw the apartments next and also across the street and they were actually more expensive.
