I was seperated from my wife- we are from Long Island and she relocated to Avalon. We began to reconcile and I began to visit.
1. She was grabbed from behind when we went to an expensive seafood restaurant near the Inner Harbor- not at the Harbor- I'm not supposed to mention any specific names of restaurants on here. The police didn't file any report.
2. Avalon's tenants are nosey and live their lives around gossip. Leasing agents are whiny and annoying and won't help out if there is a serious problem- they'll send you off to someone else.
3. The area around Avalon isn't as safe as it used to be I've heard from about 50 people. Seems like the county government isn't doing a great job. Mentioning that, I read a lot of local newspapers and was familiar with some of the local politicians. My wife and I went out to dinner frequently at some pricier restaurants in the Pikesville area. Saw on numerous occasions certain local politicians having "big meals" looking as if not having a care in the world.
4. Baltimore County Public Schools aren't as safe as they used to be, no one is doing anything about it- Baltimore in general has a reputation for going downhill- I've heard people in Long Island even talk about it- glad I am back in New York. Take action- do something to strengthen back the Pikesville community.

I've never met someone from New York who can adapt well to anywhere else...the politicians in new york don't eat????..No one is ever assaulted in NYC??? Baltimore county's public school in Pikesville was number one in the state. Seems to me that New Yorkers (sadly) never like anywhere but New York.

Pikesville is in Baltimore County. defdakilla should do their homework. Yes, there are major problems with the CITY schools.
