I have been living at Owings Chase for 2 years. I cannot wait to leave. When I first move here I really liked it. But it has gone down.

The leasing office staff is ghettoly average. The maintenance is awful. The grounds are old and ugly. The balconies need to be done over. Doors need to be updated, hell removed! The nicest place is the leasing office area..nice flowers!

When I first moved here we a phony attendant at the gate. This was just to lure you in. When they decided to get rid of the attendant they did not offer an explanation, deduce rent, offer to secure to the door with buzz in entry. Nothing!! The fake gates are never closed. There are teenagers who hang around in the buildings late at night who don't even live in your building. They smoke weed, sell weed in this complex. I found an empty drug bag as I left my apartment building. Called the useless leasing office and no one did anything. The storage areas are trashy and kids hide in there doing who knows what. But they increase the rent.

If you have kids they will not have an area to play. The area they call a pool looks like a dirty bath tub! They do not have a playground for kids. Owings Chase does not offer a playing area for them. But you better believe there are tons of kids around here.

If you like to hear everyone's conversation, hear them run water, make love sesion, listen to their music at 5am, hear them walk across the floor..then Owings Chase is the place for you. The walls and floors are so thin you hear everything. Tried to complain ...nothing was done. The leasing office is just that a place to sucker people in a take their too high rent!

I don't mind paying more if I am getting more. I did not renew my lease this year. I plan on moving somewhere new, well kept, with ample security, better maintanence and professional staff. And I will be paying almost $300 more but it is so worth it. You get what you pay for.

If you want my advise, do not move here. Keep on looking. This ain't it!!!
