That's a great summary - nothing has changed. My roommate and I regret not reading these reviews before deciding to sign a lease here. What these people have written pretty much matches our experiences. We're not on the ground floor so we got the mouse apartment, not the roach apartment. I, too, am counting the days to the end of my lease.

We were fooled by the "stellar leasing consultant" who was hired to fill all the vacancies caused by the neglect and mismanagement. We were also excited to have a washer/dryer in the unit. What a joke! It was broken. Then when it was fixed it filled the apartment with the smell of smoke. It doesn't even have venting - the hose just hangs out the back and spews lint and water vapor everywhere. Nasty golden stuff oozes down our walls and drips from our ceiling around it.

The maintenance people...no, wait, there's just one person...tells the leasing office he's done things when he hasn't. He'll even lie to you, the tenant, right to your face. They come in and do one little thing each week to justify that they're "trying" but I have still contacted the health department and dream of getting out of this place.

A new company recently bought the property and they sounded like they might like for it to change, but I don't think that's going to happen any time soon. It may be bad for me, but they've got the worst part of the deal. They've inherited more than just a poorly-kept property. They're stuck with unprofessional, uncaring, uncommunicative staff and one lying, incompetant maintenance person who can barely put two pieces of wood together and probably can't execute a bead of caulk.

Sadly, I'm typically an optimist. I had to go to this website's reviews for the apartment complex where I used to live just to tell people how WONderful it was. I miss it but the 700 mile commute would have been a bear.

Trust me. Trust all these people on this site. Look elsewhere. Do not trust these people. Knock on doors and ask us. My neighbor is moving out next month after problems even worse than ours!
