I have my complaints but the good far outweighs the bad.

First, the bad: when the lady downstairs smokes, you can smell it all through our apartment and the hallway. And she's complained about our 2 year old that runs all over my apartment. But these things come with living in an apartment. The "secure" gatehouse is a joke. They let anyone in and the teenagers that work there are so busy talking on the phone all the time, they dropped the gate on my car once. We are in a renovated unit which is nice but there is very poor construction. The light switches and cabinets are crooked. Our floor is not flat in severral places so floor lamps and other things lean. In the summertime, there are teenagers everywhere (especially in our parking lot since we live right by the pool). Again, this comes with living in an apartment.

Now, the good: The apartment is huge. It was very hard finding an apartment with this much space. We moved here from an apartment in Owings Mills that was new and modern but very, very small. We pay the same price for our 2 bedroom renovated apartment here that we did for the tiny one bedroom in Owings Mills. I love the kitchen and breakfast nook. Plenty of closet space. Master bedroom is huge. Apartment was clean when we moved in and everything replaced that I brought up in our walk-through. We had a mouse once when we first moved in (not surprising since dumpsters are right outside of the building). Maintenance came as soon as I called and sealed up any holes. I haven't seen a mouse since. I have the BEST neighbors. We all look out for each other. Parking is great! The pool is nice. The grounds are nice and well-kept. Maintenance has been responsive. Community events are really nice. Not sure why people complained about BG&E bills, ours is about $80. Great location between Liberty and Reisterstown road.
