Once upon a time there was a person in desperate need of a apartment. To her surprise she thought she found a pretty reasonable newly renovated apartment! Sure in the beginning she was happy with the seamingly nice staff, & the newly decorated interior of her apartment, but after the signing of the lease that all changed! She moved in on April & discovered that half of the electrical circuits did not work. She then had to wait 2 weeks for a phone repair person to come & see why her phone would not work only to find out that the circuitry was improperly installed!! Then she discovered that she lived under the bad seed demon chid who constantly stomped from morning to night, but to her joy the family with the bad seed moved out & a family of 7 (3)adults (4)children moved in to the (2)bedroom apartment & WERE EVEN NOISIER THAN THE BAD SEED!!! To make matters worse she spent the first Thanksgiving preparing food that she never cooked because her oven would not work!!! She raised hell with the rental office for months & Ms J & staff seemed very uncaring to the situation. The horrified tenant did not get a working oven until (GET THIS) 6 MONTHS LATER!!!!! The office replaced the oven with a brand new digital oven (OH JOY) ONLY TO HAVE THE OVEN BREAK DOWN (GET THIS) 2 DAYS BEFORE HER 2nd THANKSGIVING!!! It took only 4 MONTHS THIS TIME.. after continuously nagging the office but when she tried to turn the stove on smoke filled the kitchen, so til this day she is still without a working oven!! When a seemingly nice couple who were thinking of renting the empty apartment next to her asked her how the place was. She said well you see how dirty the hallway is' They said yes, she said well it's dirty all the time & when she showed them the basement laundry room they almost broke their necks trying to leave out of the building. The complex she lived in was on the news because someone who lived in that area did a carjacking & kidnapped the child in the car!! Police stays in the court constantly and harass some of the teens (some who don't deserve it) because they are looking for the ones who sell drugs. She only stayed there as long as she did because the rent was cheap but enough is enough. I or she finally realized you get what you pay for!!!!! & is looking for a place right at this moment!! MY OR HER ADVICE TO ANYONE THINKING OF MOVING AT BROOKHAVEN ESTATES WOULD BE TO RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!!!! BROOKHAVEN ESTATES IS THE APARTMENT COMPLEX FROM HELL!!!!! I HAVE SEEN PROJECTS RAN BETTER THAN THIS!!!!!
