Buyer Beware

Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2007
I'd like to consider myself a fair person. My stay will be over 2/28/2007, which will be the end of my lease. During my time here, I've learned that Ella is a Gem. Malea who came on board later on is a quite fair if you're late with your rent - she's ok - but don't try to conduct business if their out of town manager is in town - she's a downright 5 letter word. Anyway, I moved into a "so called" renovated apartments on Barry Paul Road and I was the first person to move into my building. Being a renovated building, there weren't any washers or dryers and I was told that they would be placed there - that never happened. No one received mail for over 2 months due to the placement of the mailboxes being too high. The closet poles continually collapse due to poor materials and mounting. I needed my toilet seat replaced and they put on one that looked like it was manufactured by hasbro. The noise was ridiculous. After having to almost threaten the next door neighbors teenagers and friends with bodily harm to stay out of the hallway from being so noisey - having to involve the police at one time. And in the late hours I could look forward to the intimate sounds from my upstairs neighbors of which I'm sure they heard mine from when I had my own intimate moments. "shabby insulation"... The area is very quiet in the evening, except for the occasional brawl that breaks out with about 20-30 individuals and random appearances of the police 6-7 squad cars deep, off and on throughout the year all seeming to always converge on the same apartment building... to include a car fire at one time! There's also a busted lobby window in my building which has yet to be replaced. I'd complain but what would it matter' The parking sucks. I virtually park on the grass almost. I'm aways worried that my car will get damaged from the garbage truck that comes through on Monday's at 5am. The best part about the apartment was.... well anyway, lets just say that I'm glad I'm on my way out. I could stay if I had to, but one would have to question how bad they'd need a place to stay. I managed to catch a deal initially with them and you will not be able to find another apartment for the rate I caught it at. I also happened to catch that they have different billing and standards for certain buildings. ' I don't get that one.
