Do Not Waste Your Time Or Money Here

My experience here has been a nightmare from the very beginning. My roommate chose this complex & I went along with out doing much research. Before we signed the lease, everyone in the leasing office was very helpful, but as soon as we became residents everything changed. I have been waiting for the property manager Robin to call me back for months. I have left many messages & I have visited the office several times, but she is never there or available.
The whole maintenance staff needs to be fired as well as most of the office staff! The leasing office has no control of what maintenance does & it seems that the maintenance staff is not held accountable for anything.
The utilities were not on in the unit we were assigned. I went back & forth with the office about this, but they assured us that everything was in working order. We paid our security deposit and 1st months rent to gain possession. We also scheduled for the electric to be turned on. When BGE turned the services on, to our surprise there were no fuses in the box, so nothing worked. Maintenance got around to installing the fuses 4 days later. Guess what' Another surprise. Neither the heating system nor the air conditioning system worked. This was reported, but it took almost 2 months to fix. Someone came out & looked at the units but never came back to fix the problem.
There was also a problem with the kitchen sink. We would come home to the sink filled with water as well as water flooding the floor. We lived on the bottom level and were told that there was a clog in the main line. We were getting food residue from the other apartments backing up in our sink. Maintenance was informed several times, but it still took over 3 months for them to fix it.
There was yet another problem with a leaking pipe. We had a leak behind the wall in the bathroom for over 2 months. We reported several times that there was water drenching the carpet in front of the bathrooms & the hall closet, but we did not know where it was coming from. Maintenance came out and nobody could figure out where the water was coming from. Then one day someone had the bright idea to go into the wall. And guess what' Once they pulled out the bathroom sink the leaking pipe was right there! Although they found the leak they could not fix it because they had no petty cash to buy what they needed to repair it & of course upper management was not in the office and could not be reached. The leak was eventually repaired, but the wall & the replacement of the sink were a different story. Its 2 months later the full job is still not complete.
