When you hear a deal that is too good to be true, it probably is. Since day one, I have had problems with Carriage Hill. I had two unwanted "tenants" during my first month. RATS!
When I told the management, they handed me glue traps. After the rats, I was constantly disturbed by neighbors blaring music all hours of the nights below me and a neighbor with an unruly child running above me.
Why would an apartment put a family with a small child on a top-level apartment without carpet is beyond me. I have made several complaints to the management. All of which fell on deaf ears. They keep terrible records of complaints; my cabinet door fell on my head; my heat has been out several times, and the lock on the "secure" door in the "gated" community is broken. I feel like I live in the projects. The police are constantly rolling through, and kids are hanging out all the time.
I am counting down the days until my lease is up. I will never try to save money by going the cheap route again.
