Our door which is always kept locked was passively opened during the day while we were goen and a valuable item was stolen from our apartment. When telling this to the leasing office the first words out of their mouths was that it wasn't the maintenence men. (Voluntarily incriminating themselves). They then proceded to TELL us that we GAVE our keys to other people and that was who did it. They showed no concern for our safety and did not even ask if we were okay. They even tried to charge us for a lock change. A few days later a neigbor informed me that a valuable was taken from his apartment and when confronting the leasing office they said that it wasn't their maintenence men. (go figure). Management doesn't care at all about their residents they just try to get people to sign a lease and once you do that you're like yesterday's garbage. Our apartment on the first floor was not insulated and our thermostat on 70 degress heated our apartment only to 60 degrees. I will pay you NOT to move here and I'm serious. Our renovated apartment was beautiful and the neigbors were nice but you WILL get something stolen, there has been word of a lot of that going on around here, and when you do you'll be screwed. They're shady not to mention UNfriendly (the leasing office) I'm telling you. Then they started building all of this stuff on the building and decided to raise our rent. Oh yeah and our apartment was full of bugs. And don't expect to call maintenece just once and the leasing office does not adhere to office hours and they rarely answer the phone.
