Been living here for 3 years. When I moved in, the prep work was half assed. One window was missing its screen. The others have tears in the screen. The paint job itself was half assed. Door's are missing the metal kick plates. Blinds are cheap, the set in the den have no support and constantly fall out of place when you try to rise/lower them as do the ones in the master bedroom. The floors in the kitchen and bath had water damage and buckled, causing the tiles to crack weeks after moving in. Maitence finally "fixed" the problem by tiling over, only for the new tiles to crack (and still are cracked, we just covered them up due to maitence's lack of compotence). The tiolet had a leaky issues causing odor. Maitence worked on it multiple times, finally replacing the tiolet - half assed. Guess what. Still has a slight leak and odor. The AC was leaking water all over the place (the units look like they're 40 years old). I somehow became responsible for dumping 2 or 3 buckets of water a day for weeks until, instead of being replaced, they took a pan from an old unit to simply stop the water leak. I'm getting brown marks in the master bedroom from unknown sorce with a unknown do nothing about it approach. Currently, the kitchen counter is actually FALLING away from the wall! The first year here I caught 7 mice coming from a hole in the bathroom (which as since been patched and as luck would have it no more mice to date). Every year rent continues to rise despite being good tenants and making timely payments. Parking sucks. Sketchy shadey characters roam about from time to time, particularly in the evening hours. Good first apartment to start out living on your own I suspose. Rent started cheap enough (you get what you pay for in some regards i suspose)... And out of alot of the apartments in the Reisterstown area, one of the few that I feel at least comfortable enough to walk around without a loaded weapon for protection. Still. Carry some mace just in case. Needless to say, I'm now looking around. But unfortunately I'm locked into 1 more year here... biding my time to make a move.
