I have beem with Owings Manor for three years. At the time when I moved here it was my first apartment. I was offered a rent special for a one bedroom that seemed unreal. At the time I was not aware that the complex was being sold. It was originally under Apartment Services. It is now owned by an out of state management company named Waterton Mgmt. I have seen more people move out since the management changed. Personally I am moving because I have grown weary of going to the local laundry in shopping center to wash clothes. I am not please with having to walk to another building to wash clothes only to find that all the washers are filled.
On a positive note I have never experience any rodents or roaches, just a few bugs from the weather changing. Overall the complex is nice if you live on the Caraway Rd side. Most of the bad kids live on the Brookebury side. Also if you do not like pets this is not the place for you. They accept very large dogs and often resident will not clean up after the pet. Also the hallways have old carpets in which some pets have done their business and the accident was never properly clean.
Again overall not too bad of a place, but make sure you see the building that you will be mobing in before you sign the lease.
