I absolutley LOVE my apartment! The Preserve have a very professional staff at the leasing office and timely maintenance men. For the most part it is very quiet in the neighborhood, which I love! The people are friendly and there isn't a whole lot of loud music or children running around. The location is perfect. I am literally around the corner from everywhere! The parking is great. Ususally there is always a spot right in front of my apartment building. I would recommend this place to everyone!

Lived here?

Have you been here only a short time or are you management and trying to increase the ratings for this place? I have lived here for almost two years, and when my husband picks me up from work and brings me home, the parking lot on our side of the lot is usually full and we have to park on the other side, plus people sometimes park in the no-parking zone next to the dumpster - and management does nothing about it. We just got notice that when our lease renewal comes up, the apartment complex will start charging for gas (cooking, heat, hot water) instead of its being free - not all of it, a percentage, but still one of the incentives to come/stay here had been the free gas! (They'll have to change their advertising now.) As far as noise - I disagree. The windows, walls, and ceilings are thin enough to hear loud music and people making noise (especially at night), though I suppose that's common for most apartment complexes. Safety - well, it could use more lighting and more visibility of security people. Some of the office staff are friendly and helpful, but not all of them.

This review is completely off the wall. You have things totally backwards - sorry about your luck. I've been here for almost two years now and cannot wait to get out of here!!! I'll be posting a review shortly.

I would say my experience here has been a mixed bag of sorts. On one hand, I have the incompetency issue, for example, there was to be a gas/safety inspection. I got my apartment prepared and returned later that day, thinking the maintenance guy came in and completed it. Instead, a week or so later, I received a letter stating that the maintenance guy could not access my apartment for three reasons, which did not apply to my case. So I'm thinking to myself, "Why couldn't he gain access to my apartment?" DUH! As far as parking, with this apartment complex located in Reisterstown, you must have a car for transportation. With that said, there are enough parking spaces for the amount of tenants in each building, but the early bird will get the space. I've come home around the same time everyday and the same spaces will be available. However, if I come home after 7 or 8p, I will be further away from my building. It's just common sense. All the other concerns, like mold, mice, or bugs, I haven't seen. If teenagers are issue, management can't control that. Parents control that and if you form a common ground with your neighbors, then maybe you will see some improvement. Here's an idea - form an association! Be proactive instead of reactive. I will admit the laundry rooms need some care, but if you don't like it, go to the Sudsville down the street. They have larger capacity washers and you know that they're maintained properly because that's their business. Oh yeah, the fitness center is a joke. I think they finally fixed some of the machines, but one time when I visited, I think like 3 machines were working. SMH and LOL.
