The Preserve at Owings Crossing formerly Owings Manor
< | >
The presereves at owings crossing(Owings Manor) has a severe problem with drug and gang activity in its community to start with. Police respond to calls several times daily for illegal actions and there is alot of vandilism to residents vehichles. My matience staff seems to be incompatant.Having them come out three times in one month and it still dosent work.Overall its a poorly managed by current management. The leasing conncultants mock people who arew on the phone with a reguest as if there requests are not important. Most likly the worst place to live. k6tKKzmJrmATU2ap682S

first of all....learn to spell.
Secondly its not YOUR maintenace staff ( as you wrote) You do not pay them so they are not "your staff"
and third...crime is high in the Baltimore area. Period. Don't like it? You can move

This is NOT Baltimore you moron! This is Reisterstown, big difference buddy! Oh really, just pick up and move huh? That is the solution for you to give out? Well, maybe some people don't have it like that and can't just up and pack when the place you are living in should not be the way that it is. You pay good decent hard earned money and you should not have to pack because the maintenance is shoddy.
Also, did you ever think the OP might be pissed right now and is letting the truth all hang out?
Do us all a favor, and get a life, and as for the OP, I whole heartedly agree with you 100%. The Preserve at Owings Crossing is horrendous and the maintenance is sub-par.
Good Luck! I hope you find something other than a crime related area!

I worked at Owingss Manor fom 1986-2002. I then transferred to a property in Towson owned by Panco. The only resaon I left OM was because I didn't care to work for Apartment Services. When I started working in Towson, I was promoted to supervisor. I always made it very clear to my staff that we were there for the residents because it's their rent money that helps pay our salaries. If it weren't for "OUR" residents; WE wouldn't have a job. I have alot of fond memorie of Owings Manor and I wish I could come back and work there again. I KNOW what Owings Manor was and could be again under the right circumstances. If "YOUR" property manager isn't doing her job; or ANY of the staff for that matter, don't hesitate to call corporate and let them know. Better still; PUT YOUR COMPLAINTS IN WRITING !!! Good luck to all of you at my beloved Owings Manor!!! Have the manager email me, I'd come back in a heartbeat!!!!!

I lived in Owings Manor a couple of years ago and I would NEVER compare the area to Baltimore city. WOW has it really gotten that bad? It's funny how the most ignorant comments always seem to come through "Anonymously" There used to be a time when people looked at critisizm as motivation for change. Seems like a disgruntled staff member to me. Anyway, I definately agree to put your issues in writing send letters to every and any person of authority you know. Matter of fact when enough is enough call the MD state department of housing and have an inspector come out. Actually, I'm glad to see that the maintenance team is actually coming to the house to repair your issues seems like you are running into a maintenance team that just does not know what they are doing.

sweet patricia... although a great suggestion to put the complaints in writing, it gets no where. I did just that after a lengthy maintenance issue (and the people that live there do pay the salaries of maint (that's for anonymous at the beginning of the strand)that was NEVER resolved (after 9 months). I contacted the owners of the complex numerous times and never heard back from them. No one at the main company responded to my letters or phone messages. After the leasing office told me to just go ahead and turn in my 60 day notice because they were tired of me requesting maint for the same leak from the upstairs bathroom, I just gave up.
