I'm not sure of what gas leaks that last reviewer could be referring to. I've been here since they opened in 2005 and I've seen BGE over here once. And we've never had to evacuate!. I's so funny how people get upset and run to their computers to complain and write bad reviews instead of dealing with there issues like adults. (You have ticks sounds like a personal promblem) and if teenagers make you nervous then that also sounds like a personal problem...I have the same floorplan as the complainer and I don't have gaps in my doors or garage. If you didn't like the fact that you didn't have a linen closet, you should have never moved in! People like you bring this beautiful community down! Get a grip honey if you don't want your child to hear curse words, MOVE TO ALASKA! How can the community or management save your child from hearing curse words'!
Bottome line I have children that are four and six and I feel safe enough to walk with my children in the community and around the neighborhood no matter what time it is. People should judge for themselves and visit. My daughter attends Franklin elementry and we've had nothing but good experiences at that school.

I agree with this comment....I have twin boys and this complex is the best area in Reistertown to raise children

I support the previous post as, on the whole, the complex is unsafe. As I stood talking to one parent allowing my preschooler to play with several children nearby, I heard her cry only to discover that she had been hit in the face and arm. Children have to learn but to hit someone in the face has to reflect on the parents.
I would disregard any reviewer who suggests that cursing in front of children is an unavoidable norm and warrants no disgust. Clearly, cursing near a child is pathetic and low class. Having never experienced this behavior in the any other city (lived in 6 other states and in 4 other countries), I am certain it is not normal.
On my neighbor's porch, I heard some tween boys discussing their chances of getting a bj from a thirteen year old. While we have some truly great neighbors, there is a new and increasing crowd that, to put it nicely, are best avoided. I have no desire to relate to such people. I am contemplating carrying a defense weapon. Of course management just cares that they pay their rent.
To each his own...but you do NOT have to go to Alaska to find better community. One doesn't have to live in Alaska to avoid the plaque of the uneducated, low class people who have been welcomed into Harvest View.
If Harvest View is the best place in Reisterstown, then Reisterstown is not a desirable location. Reisterstown lacks cultural attractions and restaurants for common eating. The area lacks eateries for TexMex, Mexican, Greek, Persian, Brazilian, Thai, Vietnamese ... There are two upscale restaurants but a void of everyday eateries. I find myself constantly traveling out of Reisterstown for pretty much everything.
