Village of Chartleytowne

Horrible experience with Chartleytowne From: unhappychartley Date posted: 9/26/2003 Years at this apartment: 2000 - 2003   They increase the rent every chance they get. They claim they are just catching up to everyone else. Don't believe them. Shop around and you will see. There are less parking spots in my lot than there are apartments. How is that possible' Thin walls allow noise to travel very well. Not to mention the section 8 housing out back that houses who knows what judging on the amount of noise coming from there. Gun shots are not uncommon. Car alarms have become elevator music to my ears. I guess I'll have to say poor landscaping due to the fact that they just leave the grass all over the sidewalk and your car. No lighting in the parking area. One light outside main entrance that works once in a while. Takes a little while to get maintenace to fix problems. The notes maintenance have left me have been in very broken english. Air conditioners are rather weak. It's a shame that the only good thing about the whole property is that the office people are nice but you tend not to like them because all they do is supply you with the bad news of your rent increase. Can't wait to move.
