I have been living here for 3 years, none of which I can say have been good. I'm always on time with the rent, yet on 2 occasions I have been accused of being late. Once due to one of their errors and the other due to rent being due on a holiday weekend. Maintenace is absolutey atrocious; the workers will stand on your bed with their muddy boots and grid dirt and other nasty stuff into your carpet.

The company has terrible accounting practices to the extent that for a year I was paying too much rent, yet they never said anything. They had apparently credited my account and then with their usual rent hike, I was paying too little so they deducted from the credit until I underpaid them, at which point they turned my account over to their attorneys - for an amount of less than $50!!

Parking is a nightmare - many tenants have friends stay over for long periods of time taking up the parking. You will eventually have to find parking elsewhere. There is a lot of nightly activity from children with no adult supervision and these kids have ATTITUDES. You may end up in a fistfight with a 12 year-old, so watch out.

You can also look forward to very one-sided lease contracts, so be sure that if you move to this hell, that you intend to stay at least till the time the contract is up or you will be sued for 4 months rent.

Only move here if you are absolutely desperate and don't let their smiling faces lull you into a sense of security. Alarms should go off when you visit the rental office and park your car next to their Corvettes and BMWs.

BTW - The townhouses on Shirley Manor Rd have horrendous roach problems.

Run away and don't look back!!

Edit - Oh yes, I almost forgot. If you're here during a blizzard, you may as well forget about getting out any time soon. Last winter we had a rather large snowfall and I spent 2 hours digging out our cars. The truck hadn't plowed the entire day. Then finally the next day, they came in and literally plowed us back in. So I go to work and while I'm there, a tenants friend parks his car in the spot I dug out - at which point it breaks down and is abandoned. So I call the rental office to tell them that there is an abonded car with no plates taking up a spot and they tell me that 'there is no assigned parking.' I said that the car isn't parked, that it's abandoned. That car sat there for 2 months before it was finally towed away.
