This property is the worse piece of **** I have ever lived in. They raise your rent $90 every year, provide horrible maintenance service. We didn't have air conditioning in the townhomes for years and when they finally did put them in they left holes in the walls that opened to the outside for 8 months during the winter and didn't patch them until the late spring. My townhouse was broken into a week after I moved in and nothing was done by thr management. My car was broken into and before I could get the window fixed the property management had my car towed away because it had a broken window. I wouldn't refer this place to my worst enemy!!!!

We just left Chartley Towne (on Glyndon drive) a few months back. But right before we left the apts, we had noticed increase in burglary, and vandalism in the area. It was not so bad earlier.. On july 6th, 2008 a young girl 19(refer google or wbaltv.com to confirm) was raped on the shirley manor road..and that speaks how bad the chartley area got..suddenly.. shirley road intersection is the first stop sign, as you turn on Glyndon Drive from Main street. Mgmt lately has not been very careful of whats going on. The nightly watch is almost non existant... However, for us, apt dwellers, they increased the price by 50 (and settled in for 35 upon argument) every year... This is to not to badmouth a place we made home for some years, but it is a fact that residents should be aware of.

It is very true that the groundsman works very hard. Partially because he has to, the garbage trucks leave a horrible mess on the mornings that they come and we have dumping from people who don't live in the complex. I agree that they should have secutrity of some kind due to the number of unsavory people and gang members that are always leaning on people's cars and hanging out in the parking lots.

I've been living here for a year now....maintnence slacks or does patch work fixes...things you do until...anyway...I think they should have more security...mice....whew...get a cat..But they keep the grounds very nice, grass cut, groundsman works very hard EVERYDAY..with his dust pan and broom and sweeps the whole property every morn.... I've had good interactions with the office staff thus far... But they waste too much paper sending out stupid request too often...

they now do have securtiy, not everyday though
