OAK RIDGE SO HAPPENED TO BE MY FIRST APARTMENT WHEN I WAS 18. WITHIN A MONTH I HAD HAD ENOUGH. THE MICE WERE GANGSTA ASS HELL. PEOPLE WERE HANGIN' OUT BUT I WAS YOUNG SO I DID NOT MIND THAT PART, THOUGH I WORKED HARD AND WAS NOT ONE OF THEM. ANYWAYS AFTER THAT 30 DAYS I TOLD OAK RIDGE WERE THEY COULD SHOVE THERE NASTY ASS APARTMENT AND MIND YOU I WAS A SINGLE MOM WITH A ONE YEAR OLD SON. SO, TEN YEARS LATER I ENDED UP MOVING THERE AGAIN WITH MY HUSBAND AND THREE CHILDREN. I THOUGH DAMN, NO MICE, LOOKS LIKE THEY HAVE STOPPED THE DRUG ACTIVITY. FOOLED MY ASS AGAIN, MICE JUST TOOK ABOUT 2-3 MONTHS TO SHOW THIS TIME AND GUESS WHAT ELSE I GOT FOR FREE...BED BUGS, OH MY GOSH THEY WERE THE WORST. EVERYBODY HAD THEM, I EVEN WENT TO ANOTHER APARTMENT, HELL NO IT'S ALL THE SAME. THE REALLY NEED TO TEAR THOSE JOINTS DOWN AND TRY AGAIN.

BEDBUGS, I got my PhD in Bedbugology! Never experienced them until now, only been here for 6 months, and my son has been vicitimized by them. One of the craziest things I ever heard of, but they migrate with the people, so I gotta stay away from people that don't seem to mind the darn pests! This is substandard living, and I refuse to live like this, searching for a new apt now, that's why I'm on here. And thanks for the info about switching to another apt, because as you just stated, it doesn't work! So I'm not even gonna waste my time, energy, and money trying to stay with the management. What I want to know, is where did you go to avoid the bedbugs, and carriers of them? Please let me know. On a good note, the apartments are older, but relatively spacious for the money. Parking is limited, but that seems to be the general consensus with apartment living. Other than the bedbugs, I was willing to stay here until I take that home owner challenge. But now, I have to find another place of residence, and hopefully the next stop will be my own home!

I AM PERSONALLY LOOKING FOR A PLACE OF MY OWN TO RENT AS WELL. I NEED SOME ADVICE AS WELL BUT I HAVE A CREDIT ISSUE, MY RENTAL HISTORY IS SHOT TO HELL SO I AM IN A SERIOUS BIND HERE. CURRENTLY I HAVE NO RESIDENCE TO CALL MY OWN. ANY ADVISE FOR ME?

Hello i,ve moved to Oakridge for about a month and i' ve experienced the bed bug issue. Never in my life have i had this issue until then. I have a 4 month old and this has stressed me out. I contacted the rental office they said they are going to exterminate so we'll see how it goes. I've had to break my apt back down to tie everything in bags and i have to wash everything it's a dam headache. I havent even been staying there because i don't want my baby around the fumes. I'm currently searching for another apt because this is ridiculous. I really dont have any help so hopefully this serious issue can be elimated, they told me they were exterminating the whole building we'll see. To anyone out there don't be fooled by the cheap rent DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I REPEAT DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!!!!
