I think this is a prime example of people posting their opinions only when they had a bad experience.

I've been living here for three months now and can't think of a valid issue to complain about. The office responds instantly to maintenance calls; I had a maintenence man to my apartment in 20 minutes the time there was a problem with hot water heater. There was a small roach problem for which they recently came around and sprayed, and the grounds are frequently cleaned. The buildings are pretty old but well cared for. There are window a/c units and some type of old heating system that I can't describe better because I haven't had to use it yet. But like I said earlier, this isn't a valid complaint because the rent is low and I got it on special.

True Rent is low, and maintenance is on top of their job. However, your experience depends on the location of the building that you live in. give it a few more weeks you will have bed bugs because they are in every building. oh and just because they sprayed that doesn't mean a thing. Those roaches did nothing but go hide in another unit for a week or two. The treatments are ineffective unless the entire building is treated at the same time.

Well I don't know where you stay but I am currently taking this piece of ---- place to court. I had a roach colony in my stove and I was told they don't replace stoves. You can't tell what tempature the oven or stoves is on, so they fix was giving me new knobs which does not solve the problem nor the problem with the roaches. I had a flying cockroach in my apartment the other day and I have 2 young kids. My mom and brother moved over and their apartment is the smallest 2BR apt I have ever seen. They had roaches so bad they were climbing on the ceiling. The apartment was a mess, my brother got rid of the roaches himself with no help from maintenance. The neighborhood is okay but the apartments and the property manager Mary and her team is the worse. Currently I am withholding my rent and waiting to go to court to get out of my lease.

omg .. roaches they will be back and you will be having visitors soon not the ones u want to live with , bed bugs and mice wait and see and then come back and tell us about Oak Ridge and how prompt they are to attend to your needs ! Good luck
