I didn't want to believe all of the reviews posted prior to mine. I really wanted to give Parkview Gardens the benefit of the doubt. Well sadly, all of the reviews are true. I moved in on 02/19/2007, prior to moving in I had the oportunity to see the apartment. The young lady that showed me around was very informative and knowledgable about the unit. I asked specifically about the roach situation. Zemi candidly said "do you see any right now", my response was no however, will they visit me when I move in' She said "if you have a problem just call me and I will have the exterminators com in." Well, just as I suspected I got a visit not only from roaches but their cousins the bed bugs. I wash clothes every Saturday sheets and comforters everything, so I know they are clean. Well, I started itching and having a slew of huge bumps on my arms, legs and one on my face. I ended up going to my doctor and she prescribed a steroid cream for me which helped with the terrible itching. Needless to say, I changed my bed and bedding, during that proccess I saw one of the critters and compared it to what I saw when I googled bed bugs. It was a perfect match. So I am moving this Friday 08/31 and I am very happy. However, I am sad that all that I read and heard about this property was true. I am even more trouble that David Mendick, the head property manager was not at all interested in what I had to say about my experience. Maybe the next person who views this site can speak with Mr. David Mendick and get a better response than I did. Please, please, please consider these reviews. These people are not just un-pleasable, these reviews are true, accurate and ligitimate. Renters beware.
