I NEVER, EVER seen a place like this before! I never lived in Riverdale Village and I'll never will! Where sha'll I began' Over the weekend I went to seek an apartment that I could afford for the time being and the leasing specialist showed me THREE different apartments! Each apartment had carpet that was so thin(it looked like it belonged in a motel 6) that you might as well walk on the hard wood floor! Not only was the carpet cheap looking, it was dirty with paint all over them and it was torn in different places! Enough about the carpet, the broken down AC unit was TAPED yes I mean TAPED to the wall with spider webs hanging down from it! In one bathroom, the toilet was brown inside. It honestly looked like someone had took a dump in it( but there was no smell). There were several holes in the wall(it looked as if someone got into an argument and decided to punch them)that they just decided to paint over top of them. The closet door was painted shut in one of the bedrooms and I had to pry it open, then it would'nt. there wasnt any sliding, glass doors to the shower and the refigerators were beat up with the handle falling off! First of all, the leasing consultant just walked in with me and did'nt even say anything good(nor bad)about the apartment and she just sat back and laughed at everything(ex. when I could'nt open the closet door). Oh yeah the walls are as thin as a sheet of paper. The reason why I know this is because one of the neighbors was playing their music so loud that I had to scream to ask questions about the apartment! When it was all said and done I asked the leasing specialist if those apartments were really ready for rent and she said "yes" and then I asked her will they come to put new AC units in and redue the stained and ripped up carpet and she said "no" I guess you really do get what you pay for!!!!
