Don't waste your time or money it's become a nightmare.

Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2004
After living in this community for 14 month's I can't wait for my lease to expire here. It started fine then the new people upstairs spent the last year waking me up at 2am and rarely went to bed before 5 am. My many conversations with the management only caused more stress. I was told all kinds of solutions I could do but the management never once addressed this problem properly with the tenants above me. I finally went to the Corpotate level for Avalon communities and the response was instant. If you have issue and the management doesn't address it in a satifactory manner immediatley don't wait for them to follow what they call in procedure. Just contact the corporate office and save yourself the trouble. I believe the managment is good but has no power to help with many of the problems they see in a large community like this. They don't have the experience or training to deal with many of the issues apts bring.
I also have to say I am dissapointed with the quality of the place for what they are charging. It is a fact that if they don't have replace anything and can just keep putting a piece of tape on they keep making money. My dishwasher for 14 month's is only used for a drying rack. It has been worked on a number of times and still does not work. not to mention having repairs people in the place when I'm not home or spending time waiting for one of them only to have to item not fixed anyway. I must say after 3 times with the hot water heater not working they did get that one finally fixed. This apt has cost me more money in utilities things I replace myself because they won't I have actually paid to have wiring put and sealed in the wall because I felt it was important not to have those hanging out of an outlet. It really can't be this hard to rent a apt for 1500.00 per month plus expenses and stress.
