Fresh out of college this definitely was not what I had in mind, but a last minute change put me in this apt complex. I hear my upstairs neighbor so frequently that I don't even really notice it anymore, except when they have company ... and good luck to you if the person upstairs works an odd schedule, b/c then you'll really notice. Fixtures and appliances are dated, maintenance cant do a thing on the first try (or the second in many cases)...they fixed a leaky ceiling by painting it...a clogged dishwasher by draining the water and leaving the clog...and they are still befuddled on the mystery of the non-working fireplace that i pay 25.00 a month for. That said, it's a quiet community on the whole (esp in the 1&2 bdrm area) and the location to 270/370/Rio/Kentlands is unbeatable. I hate to say it, but I think it might actually be worth putting up with some shoddy upkeep for the locale...oh, but the rent sucks! 1150 for a one bedroom' Unreal...
