Management have been very kind and responsive.
Rent is quite steep, but what isn't in Rockville'!
Apartments are decent. My friends come over and love the high ceilings (I have a 2 bed plus loft and 3 bathrooms).
I can complain about the washer and dryer, they're tiny, but at least I have one!
Bathroom fixtures are okay, I would have picked a different sink...
I do wish the bedroooms were larger...I can hardley fit my Queen bedroom set in one of the rooms.
The loft is great in the winter, all the heat rises and it's warm, but when you walk back down, you freeze and the heating bill is through the roof due to the loft.
The community always looked well kept, I never had a problem with that.
Neighborhood is very quiet. Only issue is I hear the cars driving by all day long.
We had a downstairs neighbor that frequently invited lots of friends and partied through the night. They would smoke and drink all night. They were always on the porch which is right below our bedroom window and I could hear everything they'd say. They are now gone and it's like heaven.
Our search of apartments landed us right back here @ Avalon.
So today we took a look @ one of the New apartments, like it a lot and we decided to transfer. Looks like we'll be with Avalon for a 2nd year!
