Yes, it's expensive (the new section) -- but worth it

We chose this place because of its seclusion, location, new apts, and yes -- price tag. People willing to pay more should get more, and I think A@D delivers (at least for the new section).
Biggest drawback is heat loss by the single-pane windows, around doors, and thru the laundry closet -- meaning, high energy bills -- even more true for loft-apts.
One neighbor had a habit of slamming doors all the time -- can't figure out who, but not so much anymore.
Another thing -- no elevators, so if you're on the 4th floor, you better be ready for the exercise -- particularly when hauling groceries or moving in.
Otherwise, it is quiet & relaxed, and though we had a problem with the HVAC unit, the maintenance staff bent over backwards to resolve it. 'Poppy' -- lead guy -- really saved the day (on a very cold winter day, no doubt).
Yes, I paid more for better quality, and I would be content to stay, if we weren't moving out of state.
