Our experience with Avalon at Decoverly has been horrible! We are now about 8 months into our lease and we are extremely disappointed. The main problem for us has been the noise. They only show you apartments during the day when - guess what - everyone who lives there is at work! That means you get no idea of how loud it gets once people get home from work. The leasing agent that worked with us told us the nosie was not bad at all. Totally wrong. The first night there we were astounded at how much noise we heard from the parking lot and the apartments surrounding ours. Our upstairs neighbors were so disruptive (at all hours of the night) that we had to file multiple complaints. Avalon did not take it seriously until we were literally in the management office multiple days in a row letting them know that we were not sleeping as a result of whatever was going on above us. I was dealing with a chronic illness so not being able to sleep in the apartment that we paid for was just inexcusable. Eventually, the people above us were asked to terminate their lease early - not evicted for some reason. What did this cause' They had 60 days to vacate and they spent every day of those 60 days making our lives hell. The noise level increased exponentially - it was miserable. We were worried that the apartment insulation was just that bad. BUT after they left (6 whole months into our lease!) we had new upstairs neighbors and we barely hear a peep out of them. That just showed us that the people upstairs really were being rude and inconsiderate. The worst part was that Avalon didn't take us seriously and didn't take action to solve the problem. They also were very bad at returning phone calls and emails. There are a lot of sketchy people in this complex as well. If I had to do it all over again I would NEVER stepped foot into Avalon at Decoverly. Take your money and RUN!

-Parking: good luck finding a spot after 7pm
-Grounds: filthy
-Safety: so so
-Construction: poor. Terrible kitchen appliances

you are right in the park all the bench have wasp house and we got bitten repeatedly. The management does not work on removing the hives. Every second step has a dog poop they do not have designated place for dog walk (do not come here if you have a baby that is learning to walk)

I heard "satanic chanting" coming from the walls. I asked the people next to me if they would mind "keeping it down a bit after midnight" they said...---- you dude, we pay rent just like you do." I was shocked. these are 40 something yr. old acting like that. a few days later I saw the eviction notice on their door. I asked the management about it...they claimed the tenant was forcibly removed one weekend while i was out of town. wow, jerry springer had nothing on this place. I would hope next time someone moves in...the leasing office at least runs a background check on them!!
