I do not have the same problems with parking since we are in a townhome with a garage, so of course we always have a spot to park in.
The grounds are well kept. The maintenance staff are responsive and helpful.
However, there is still construction equipment lying around the perimter of the West Village. This may be hazardous to children / pets.

The amenities are very good, especially if you make use of the fitness center and business center.

Construction is ok -- we have had a leaking pipe and the door knobs are loose already.

We have a dog -- some dog owners in this complex give other dog owners a bad name since they do not follow the property rules -- we constantly get reminders left on our door to keep your dog on the leash and picking up after your dog. Otherwise the complex is very dog friendly.

We have had a few miscommunications regarding satellite dishes and when we first moved in some confusion as to which apartment we were allowed to rent due to owning a dog (only townhomes & first floors for dogs), but otherwise the staff has been very responsive & helpful.

Overall I am happy with Avalon at Traville and would recommend the community.
