Enjoying the Community

My husband and I just moved in a few weeks ago to the Phase II (the West side). The community is wonderful. The architecture is unique and a nice change of pace from the blan cookie cutter complexes. I feel quite safe in the quiet residential area. There's a nice shopping center just a couple blocks away and an even grander shopping plaza (Falls Grove) less than a mile away. The metro is a 7-15 min. drive (depending on traffic) however there are two bus stops (one of each side of the complex) within easy walking distance. The amenities are well kept and up-to-date.
The floor plans are unique and spacious. I especially like our huge closet, the windows on every available wall, the his and her sinks, all the cabinet space in the kitchen, the big kitchen sinks and the spray option of the fascet.
Another interesting positive is that the community has several small areas of forest and brush. In the short time that we're lived here, we've seen 5 deer right at the enterance to the community.
The ONLY thing that is a down fall, but comes with all great things is a grand price tag. First time Avalon Residents do keep in mind that there's a $400 non-refundable amenities charge that's to be paid with the deposit and renter's insurance is required. For my husband and I, it's worth it!
If you're interested in the complex, feel free to e-mail me. Current residents are given bonuses if someone they refer to Avalon @ Traville becomes a resident. I'd love to show you around!
