I am constantly hearing my neighbors. I can here the toddler above me running, the parents discipling the toddler and the music and visitors person below me. The neighbors above me vacuum at 8am and they also play their piano that early. I've actually heard my neighbors coughing one night. Kids are constantly running up and down the stairs. My dog has become jumpy and is constantly looking up at the ceiling due to the noises. I was suppose to move in on the 3rd floor but could not due to my 75lb dog. The noise that a child would cause running or playing is much louder than a 75lb dog. I would prefer to live further out of town if this is the trade off for living close to work. I will most likely break my lease and pay whatever it takes to get out of here. I have had to take over the counter medicine to sleep everynight since i have been here.

The office staff is worse. I rented a garage and was assured my large SUV would fit. I have about 2 feet in the front and side of the garage and 3 inches in the back and the otherside. It is an art getting this vehicle in the garage. They will tell you anything to get you to sign. I specifically asked about the construction of the apartment (concrete between floors). I was also given a list of everyhting due and when my first payment would be needed. Then 5 months later I received a letter stating that I owe $400 for the garage and my pet for the first two months. I was suppose to get first two months free...read your lease carefully that does not include the garage or pet. What is that about' Separate contracts for a garage and your pet' Plus the overview of what is due did not include this. I feel like the staff do not understand their leasing rules. I don't mind paying but let me know up front.

I also receive notices that if i have a garage i have to park there. I always park in my garage. I think they are trying to blame anyone else but taking responsibility for their own issue. Maybe they should check and see how many people are living in an apartment and how many cars they have. That could contribute the parking situation!

If you want peace and quiet, you are in the wrong community. You should be living in a retirement community. This is a family community and you will hear everything that you are hearing now; get used to it. The parking....well, again you chose to stay for 5 months even after your car didn't fit. We have pets also and have had no problems with fees, what is due up front, etc. People just don't read anymore what they are signing. The concessions that are given to us up front are for the rent ONLY. They don't give concessions for pets or garages. Read what you are signing people.
