My husband, dog, and I moved in a little over a year ago. We live in one of the 2-bedroom townhomes. Our original rent was $1925/month, very pricy in my mind but the location is great and the apartments are, not great, but decent. When our lease was up, the rent increased to $2,165/month. In our mind, over $2,000/month is too much to pay for rent - it's a mortgage payment. And now we're going month-to-month while we're waiting for our move out date at the lovely rate of $2,300/month. It is a nice place and wonderfully located but I don't feel that the quality of the apartment justifies the price - it's just too much money. I've read many reviews on this site and I've never had "creepy" maintenance people enter without warning. In my experience, the maintenance staff is friendly and courteous, and extremely efficient. There was an entire different management team when we moved in who were very professional and helpful. Now, however, there is a new team of staff who seem more interested in standing outside smoking than doing their jobs. Also, watch out for the parking. There are about 4 visitor spots that always have cars in them belonging to residents - which I get because parking is a problem. Also, there are red parking tags that designate garage parking and blue parking tags that designate general parking. No one explained the difference to me and when we moved in we were using our garage for storage until we got everything put away and my husband's car was in the drive way and I was parking in the front of the buildings, with my garage tag diplayed on my rearview mirror. And my car was towed - from my own home. It was a very unnecessary and expensive lesson. Anyway - I'm not saying don't move here but definitely look around before you make a very expensive committment.
