Very Nice

I checked out The Jefferson as a possible place to live due to job relocation. The community consists of houses, townhomes, condos and apartments and everything seems brand new. There is a shopping complex with stores and eateries just a few blocks away.
The office staff was very polite and we went on a tour of the grounds. The facilities were nice. The apartments looked solidly built, but be aware that there are no elevators for the building - you may end up on the forth floor with the impossible task of moving up all of your furniture. The town is also constructing a park behind some of the buildings and while this may be nice when completed, I had to wonder about construction noise.
On the other hand, if you want covered parking, be prepared to pay through the nose for it ($130 per month) and the fitness facilities were rather lackluster. The pool is only 3 feet deep (its more of a kiddie pool)and I can see outdoor parking becoming more of a problem as the complex fills up. Also, be aware that the area seemed rather desolate - other than The Jefferson at Thomas Farm, there didn't seem to be too much developed in the area. The management said that the Metro was five minutes away (perhaps by jet) and it is by no means walking distance from the complex.
All in all, a nice place to live
