In addition to zero soundproofing between apartments and unsupervised children riding bikes in parking lots and running amok around the grounds:
1) Unless your idea of "luxury living" is living in a commercial truck park, this is not the place to call home. Despite lease requirements about commercial vehicles, trailers, etc, the management does absolutely nothing about the 12-15 commerical vehicles I can see from my windows. (And they have been asked numberous times). If you think that an ashphalt trailer parked in the parking lot is luxury living, this is the place for you.
2) "Avoid at all costs" discusses 3 children to an apartment. There is a family in my building with 4 children and two parents in a 3 bedroom apartment.
3) Despite rules about what can be on patios/balconies, some of the patios/balconies look like images of New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina.
4) Every weekend, the dumpsters become so overstuffed with trash and garbage that people are forced to leave their trash and garbage outside of the fencing around dumpsters.
5) Ownership of the development has changed so many times in the first year, it is impossible to know who to complain to. The front office is not very helpful.
6) We were the first to live in this apartment and the washer/dryer only work at some settings. The caulking is pulling away from every cabinet in the bathrooms and the kitchen.
7) These apartments are more expensive than similar ones in the area. It is a shame as the floor plans are lovely...the construction and the management are so shoddy, that we will be moving ASAP.
